Artist Callout for Eco Action
We invite artists to apply to take part in the 4th collective Be-coming Tree live art performance on Saturday 24 April. Your live action/improvisation/repeated physical sequence/stillness expressing the theme of Be-coming Tree must last without interruption for 60 minutes, and be live-streamed via Zoom.
16 live performances with trees will happen simultaneously on a world-wide scale for one hour. Most use phones with a reliable cellular network. Artists are to work within their local pandemic restrictions.
Audience tickets each include a donation to plant a rainforest tree.
If you would like to participate in the collective Live Art event via Zoom, please send the following to becomingtree@gmail.com before March 22nd at 24:00 GMT:
• Title and description of your proposed action (50 words max!). Note: if you are included in the event, this will be used in promo materials.
• A photo relating to your proposed action for the same purpose.
