As world leaders gather in Glasgow for the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in November, Depot presents a climactic programme of events showcasing powerful civic action, the voices of people being affected by climate and biodiversity decline and tangible solutions for a just transition to net zero emissions.

This year’s programme is packed with positive action being taken across the globe. From the ambition to build a Great Green Wall across the width of Africa and exposing the damaging fall out from gold mining, to creating legal rights for nature to thrive, people are rising to the challenge to create a sustainable future. 

Closer to home, Depot has partnered with local groups helping to make a difference. Lewes Climate Hub affiliated groups will be taking up residency at Depot to showcase a season of interactive events to see what a low-carbon Lewes could really look like.  We will also premiere Green on Screen; short films made by local young people on environmental topics they care about.
