Experience Coal Forest this winter at Woodhorn Museum.

Coal Forest will see Woodhorn Museum’s site transformed through a series of magical and thought-provoking art installations across our museum and colliery heritage buildings.

The Coal Forest exhibition & art trail is inspired by ancient Coal Forests & our ongoing & complex relationship with coal.

Featured artists include Brass Art, Crowe & Rawlinson, Laura Ford, Kelly Richardson, Thrussells & Bethan Maddocks.

Coal Forest will be complemented by an exciting event programme that shifts with the seasons through Autumn, Winter and Spring.
