SALT – Festival of the Sea and Environment invites you on a creative and inspiring journey through the landscape and culture of Folkestone’s coastline. There will be opportunities to walk, talk, make, write, observe, swim, have fun, and share ideas over good food in the great outdoors.

SALT is co-curated by Quarterhouse, Folkestone Fringe and Go to the Pine, with ideas gathered from the local community. This year, we have collaborated with The Ash Project; Creative Europe’s Magic Carpets programme; and Guardians of the Deep, as well as taking part in the 50th anniversary of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
