A workshop about using your voice to communicate climate change and injustice.

Whether you’re planning a campaign or public speaking opportunity, this workshop facilitated by Octagon Norman from the Season for Change team will help you to use your voice in an impactful way. Igniting inspiration comes from a mixture of demonstrating integrity by taking action, understanding your audience or community, and good communication.

This is one of five workshops based on the Season for Change Toolkit.

About the speakers

Octagon Norman (they/them/theirs) is a performance artist, independent researcher and the Communications Manager at Season for Change.

Their artistic, academic and professional practices are all centred on audiences. From publishing academic work on pop culture fandoms, to touring participatory shows about JK Rowling around Europe, to developing charitable, arts and climate media campaigns, Octagon believes that earnestness, transparency and listening to audiences is essential to communicating effectively.
