Yarmouth Springs Eternal is a community arts, walking and nature project, exploring overlooked and everyday perspectives of the natural world, from diverse perspectives.

The project will begin with a series of artist-led community walks/workshops in Great Yarmouth, with communities affected by homelessness and migration. These groups have been identified in recent research to be more likely to be on the front line of climate crisis and increased negative impact of COVID/lockdown, whilst having least access to green and natural spaces. Whilst Yarmouth Springs Eternal doesn’t increase the level of green spaces in the Great Yarmouth area, it supports people to observe, witness and build a relationship with nature found in urban spaces.

The exhibition at PRIMEyarc will feature the Yarmouth Springs Eternal workshop artwork and Risograph printed booklet. Plus, visiting artists from across the UK whose work explores the natural world, including displays from: Bill Vine, Jacques Nimki, James Aldridge, Jason Evans and Company Drinks.

The conference will feature presentations from the artists, plus Q&As and networking. We are hoping to live-steam talks and presentations during the conference day via social media to reduce face-to-face visits, as a COVID control measure.
