Season for Change ran from Friday 1 June to Sunday 16 December 2018 and has now finished. Thanks for taking part and attending events across the UK that celebrated the environment and inspired urgent action on climate change.

With Season for Change, we wanted to bring together all of the cultural events being organised across the UK that celebrate the environment and inspire urgent action on climate change.

Arts organisations, artists and others from the UK’s creative community were invited to submit information about their events and they were showcased on this website. Creative responses could have taken place in arts venues, on streets, in schools, at festivals, on beaches, in libraries or museums and across broadcast, film, fashion and music.

We invited you to use culture to speak out, champion change, showcase sustainable practice and inspire action by doing things such as:

  • Programme an event
  • Commission new work
  • Organise a debate
  • Curate an exhibition
  • Provide space for spontaneous performances
  • Host an open call
  • Make art, theatre, music, film
  • Turn your work inside out and show what you’re doing behind the scenes
  • Put climate change centre stage

Please get in touch if you’re interested in future Season for Change initiatives.
